Carlo Acutis: The Catholic Church's Computer Prodigy

Carlo Acutis was an Italian website designer who documented Eucharistic miracles and approved Marian apparitions. He was born on May 3, 1991, and died on October 12, 2006, at the age of 15. Acutis was diagnosed with acute promyelocytic leukemia and offered his suffering for the sick and the dying.

Pope Francis has recognized a second miracle attributed to the intercession of Carlo Acutis.

The miracle involved the healing of a Brazilian boy from a rare and aggressive form of pancreatic cancer. The boy's parents prayed to Acutis for his intercession, and the boy was miraculously healed.
