Born January 18, 1994, Max Dorian Fried ˈfriːd FREED is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Atlanta Braves of Major League Baseball (MLB). He was drafted by the San Diego Padres in the first round (seventh overall) of the 2012 MLB June Amateur Draft from Harvard-Westlake HS in Los Angeles, California.

On April 23, 2024, Fried pitched a three-hitter for Atlanta's first nine-inning complete game of the season. The Atlanta Braves transferred Fried from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day injured list on April 24, 2024. The Braves had previously placed Fried on the 15-day injured list on April 11, 2024.
