Neither Jordan Spieth nor Will Zalatoris have had the best of seasons, but the two stars will be among the marquee names teeing it up at the Wyndham Championship this week in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Spieth, a 13-time PGA TOUR winner, is 63rd in the FedExCup point standings and 37th in the Official World Golf Ranking. He is looking to make a strong push in the final regular-season event before the playoffs begin next week.
Zalatoris, the reigning PGA TOUR Rookie of the Year, is 15th in the FedExCup standings and 13th in the world. He has been one of the most consistent players on tour this season, with four top-10 finishes in his last six starts.
Other notable players in the field include Keegan Bradley, Webb Simpson, Billy Horschel and Kevin Kisner. The tournament will be played at Sedgefield Country Club, a par-70 layout that has hosted the Wyndham Championship since 2008.
The Wyndham Championship is the final event of the regular season on the PGA TOUR. The top 125 players in the FedExCup standings will advance to the playoffs, which begin next week with the FedEx St. Jude Championship.
